Minneota Summer Rec 3rd and 4th grades had 25 registered this year and were split into two teams from Minneota and Ivanhoe. The 5th and 6th grades wee split into three teams with 41 registered.

Minnesota Gophers left-handed pitcher Tucker Novotny was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 18th round of the Major League Baseball draft recently.
