April Elementary Viking Valor Students

Minneota Elementary

Mariah Larson is preschool’s Viking valor of the month! She is a great student and friend! She works hard in school and tries to help out others whenever she can! Mariah likes to play with everyone and is always trying to make them smile! Way to be awesome, Mariah!

Kingston Ryer. The Kindergarten teachers are very proud of this student! He works hard to show respect to his classmates and teachers. His compassionate heart shows when he wants to make sure his classmates are included in games. He is seen frequently following teachers directions quickly and being a leader for his peers. Congratulations to Kingston Ryer on being the Kindergarten Viking Valor student of the month!

Jaedyn Houselog. In First Grade, we are nominating someone who not only works hard to be the best student he or she can be, but also tries to be a friend to everyone in the classroom. This person treats everyone around her with respect. This person is kind and always has a warm smile and hug for the people they see. This person meets high expectations by working hard everyday to make sure she is doing her work correctly, and we have seen her really grow since the beginning of the year. She always strives to do her best and works to bring out the best in the people around her. She does many things around school and the classroom without being asked— she just knows it's the right thing to do. She is a wonderful role model for other students. We're so glad you joined our class this year! Congratulations, Jaedyn Houselog!

Heydan Danielson. The Second Grade Viking Valor Student of the Month for April exemplifies the qualities of honesty, hard work, and doing his best. He always takes pride in his work and is always willing to help his/her teachers and classmates. This student always goes above and beyond what is asked of him and he is a role model for other students. Furthermore, his great attitude and good sense of humor make him a joy to have in class. The 2nd Grade Student of the Month for April is Heydan Danielson.

Browdy Lozinski. The Third Grade teachers are very excited to nominate someone who has really been showing Viking Valor. This student has been working extremely hard this past month and it has not gone unnoticed. This student is showing that he/she knows what it takes to achieve goals by choosing to sit in places in the room that will help him/her learn and accomplish his/her goals. He/she has been showing respect by working quietly, answering questions the teachers ask, and helping others when they need it. This student has also shown great manners and respect by helping to keep the classroom neat. We are excited to announce that Browdy Lozinski is the April student of the month for third grade.

Tyler Welsh. The Fourth Grade teachers would like to nominate a student who shows Viking Valor throughout the day. He comes in the morning with a smile on his face. He sees what needs to be done in the classroom and just does it without having to be asked. He is a very kind and helpful friend. He listens and works hard in class. He always comes to school prepared and with his homework done. Keep up the great job, Tyler Welsh!

Alex DePestel. The Fifth Grade teachers would like to nominate a student who has really stepped up and shown Viking Valor this last month. He has really started to take responsibility for himself in and out of the classroom. He has really taken pride in trying his best each day in class when it comes to his school work. He is constantly excelling and pushing himself to reach for the stars. We are proud of how far this student has come this year! Congratulations Alex DePestel!

Lyssa Kremin. The 6th grade teachers would like to nominate the following 6th grader for the Viking Valor Award for April. We would like to nominate this person because of their quiet, but dedicated attitude towards school and all that goes along with it. They are extremely organized, have great study habits, and are willing to work with any other peer or group in their grade. We feel that this person will have a large impact in high school moving forward, and we also appreciate the fact that they are a great, big sister. Congratulations to Lyssa Kremin!!
