Tenley Mead is preschool’s Viking Valor Student of the Month! Tenley shows Viking Valor by following the classroom and school rules, being a great friend, and always having a positive attitude! Tenley comes to school ready to learn with a smile on her face! Keep up the good work Tenley!

The Kindergarten teachers would like to nominate Vance Claeys for showing Viking Valor by being polite and respectful everyday at school. He can be found working hard in the classroom to get the assignment done in a neat and accurate manner. Vance student is found frequently helping peers if they have questions and he’s a good friend to all his classmates and shows compassion at all times in and out of the classroom. Keep on working hard and thanks being a great model of Viking Valor, Vance Claeys!

The first grade teachers nominated Parker Minnehan, who shows Viking Valor each day. He respects others by listening to his teachers and by being kind to his classmates. He shows honor by keeping his classroom and the hallways clean, getting his work done, and staying on task without reminders. He meets high expectations by always bringing his homework back each week and helping his classmates out. He always has a grin on his face, is ready to go each day with a positive attitude, and always tries his hardest. Keep up the great work, Parker Minnehan!

The second grade teachers recognized Maria Martinez, who shows Viking Valor throughout the day. She walks quietly and in control in the hallway and respects those around her by listening to whomever is speaking whether a teacher or a student. In the lunchroom she has good manners and polite conversations at the table. This second grader has been working very hard on their reading skills and have almost met their AR goals for the quarter. We would like to congratulate the second grade Student of the month, Maria Martinez!!

The third grade teachers honored Isaiah Ramirez, who always has a smile on his face each day he comes to school. Isaiah is someone who shows respect to others by being a great friend and helping others when they need it. He also shows honor each day by helping to pick up our classroom and keeping his/her area neat and clean. This students shows high expectations by trying his/her best in all subjects especially when the material may be challenging. His personality is bright and bubbly each day and truly helps to put a smile on his/her classmates’ faces. Way to go, Isaiah Ramirez!!

This fourth grade student is Grant Hauswedell, who is very quiet and mellow in the classroom. Nothing seems to get him riled up. He also gets his work done in and out of the classroom. This fourth grader shows Viking Valor where ever he/she goes. This person is a kind and helpful friend. Keep up the great work, Grant Hauswedell!

We LOVE to nominate Taylor Clark, who we’ve seen make tremendous academic gains! This student is one of the BIGGEST readers in fifth grade. She can always be seen with a book in her hand. Her love for reading has helped her grow and achieve SO much. She is always challenging herself with thicker and thicker books. She meets her AR goal and just keeps going! She is a role model for how one should act in class and all around school. We are very proud of you and your hard work. Thanks for being a great kid, TAYLOR CLARK!

The 6th Grade teachers would like to pick Dakoda Hennen, who has really started to go above and beyond this year. She is starting to really show qualities of a true leader in and out of the classroom. She is always staying on top of her school work and getting things completed on time. Her positive attitude and smile each day never fails to brighten up the room. We are so proud of how far she has come in the last two years! Congratulations to Dakoda Hennen!
