Trap shooting finals June 15

The Minneota Trap Shooting team will be competing in the Minnesota State High School League Championships beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 at the Alexandria Shooting Park.

Merritt medals twice at girls' state track meet

Peyton Gillund's run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth inning broke a 2-2 deadlock and the Minneota Mudhens went on to a 3-2 victory over the Clinton Cardinals Friday night at K.P.

MINNEOTA AREA MEMORY

The Porter Lutheran Church and Parish observed the double diamond jubilee of the congregation on Sept. 26, 1949. The church was erected in 1874, while the home was completed February of 1875.

The Tracy tornado is a distant memory for me now, but not one I will ever forget. This devastating act of nature leveled my hometown and killed nine people on June 13, 1968.
