The Minneota Wrestling Booster Club is hosting a frozen food truck fundraiser from 1-2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12 at Countryside Golf Club to help support all levels of the wrestling program.

The Lyon County Museum is bringing back professional storyteller, Pati Kachel for a program on Laura Ingalls Wilder. The program will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Minneota won three of five matches and finished 11th among 32 teams in the Marshall Challenge at Red Baron Arena this past weekend.
Mya Pesek finished second individually among 58 runners to lead the Canby/Minneota girls' team to a win at the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Invite on Thursday in Tracy.
In one of the more thrilling games played at K.P. Kompelien Field in several years, Minneota topped Eden Valley-Watkins 37-30 before a boisterous crowd Friday night.
