Girl Scouts show kindness

The Minneota Girl Scouts of Troop 37814, who are currently selling Girl Scout cookies, made snowmen for residents of the Madison Avenue Apartment. The girls in the local troop are: Addyson Pohlen, Avery DeRoode, Avery Knutson, Brisbyn Traen, Everly Buysse, Kamryn Runia, Kate Desmedt, Pearl Stensrud and Violet Vlaminck. The residents loved the gifts they received. The money raised from the sale of cookies will be used to make gifts for the residents, planting flowers in the community and for field trips. For those interested in buying cookies, the girls will be selling them at various times at AgPlus in Willmar or Runnings and Hy-Vee in Marshall, or by calling Julie Pohlen at 507-828-7392.
