Golf cart complaints

I have received several complaints regarding golf carts and ATVs being driven in Minneota without a permit, on Highway 68, and by kids.
This problem has grown and will require stricter enforcement. If you are using your golf cart or ATV in town without a permit, you will need to get one immediately.
If I stop you, you will be cited. The permit is very easy to get and only costs $20. There is no reason not to have one.
You can only cross Highway 68, not drive along it. This means you need to use the residential streets to go to Cenex, the post office, Dollar General, and other businesses.
If you have kids in the house, it is your responsibility to make sure they are not using your golf cart and ATV unless they have a valid driver’s license. This is probably the biggest complaint I receive. If I catch a juvenile driving a golf cart or ATV, I will have your permit cancelled.
I don’t want to write tickets or cancel permits but if people fail to follow the rules I will have no choice.
