With all the snow we have had, along with the possibility of a lot more, our water and sewer department encourages you to take a look at your sump pump. Now is the time to make sure it is ready for spring.
Are your connections in good shape? Does your pump run when you test it? Is there any debris or issues with the sump pump hole?
It is better to find the problem now when most sump pump holes are dry vs. when your basement is flooding and everything you are in a panic.
