Firemen respond to house fire

The Minneota Fire Department, Minneota First Responders and Minneota Police Department responded to a house fire at 8:04 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11.

Assisting were the Ghent Fire Department and Lyon County Fire Department to the call on E. Lyon Street.

There were no injuries reported and the first was put out quickly.

The home was not habitable and the American Red Cross was contacted and provided assistance to the occupants of the home.
