MNsure open enrollment begins today

MNsure's sixth open enrollment period begins today, November 1, at 7:00 a.m.

MNsure has extended the enrollment deadline to January 13, 2019 ensure Minnesotans more time to find the best plan for them and their families.

Help is available:

• MNsure has a statewide network of expert assisters who can help you apply and enroll in-person, free of charge.

• MNsure's online help toolscan be used to access frequently requested services

• MNsure's contact center will have extended hours beginning today: Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. *Open at 7:00 a.m. on November 1 MNsure's Contact Center can be reached at 651-539-2099 or 855-366-7873.

More than 535,000 Minnesotans have accessed coverage through MNsure during the 2018 plan year.

In 2019, individuals earning up to $48,560 a year, or a family of four earning up to $100,400 a year, could qualify for federal tax credits.

 Additional income guidelines are available on the MNsure website. Approximately 65 percent of current enrollees are receiving tax credits.

“We recommend Minnesotans visit MNsure.org to find the right plan for them and their families,” said MNsure CEO Nate Clark.

“MNsure is the exclusive place for Minnesotans to tap into tax credits that could save them thousands.” Minnesotans must enroll by December 15, 2018 for coverage beginning January 1, 2019.

Enrollment in Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare is open year-round.
