DUCK RACES MAY 30

The annual Rubber Ducky races and dinner special at the Countryside Golf Club will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 30 this year.
The popular duck race and dinner events are fundraisers for Boxelder Bug Days. Hundreds of ducks with numbers corresponding to the person purchasing them are placed in the water and members of the Boxelder Bug Days royalty retrieve them with nets and announce the winning numbers.
Tickets cost $5 for two ducks with the winner receiving $200. Second place receives $100, third place is awarded $50, and fourth through seventh place gets $25 each.
Tickets are available at Gislason’s Ace Hardware, Highway 68 Liquor, Brad’s Market, Minneota Building Materials and Countryside Golf Club.
The dinner special at Countryside Golf Club features a hamburger basket served with French fries or tator tots for $8
