The Lyon County Fair has taken on a distinctly "Patriotic" theme with the flying of flags just outside the grandstand area.
The county fair board has taken considerable care to pay attention to several groups — including the veterans, who can attach themselves to one of the many flags flying over the fairgrounds — including Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force or others.
They also will honor new Senior Citizens of the Year, the Veterans Honoring and Reconition and Century Farm Awards on Saturday.
The Ralco Enrichment Center is open each day for visitors with displays regarding the farming community.
The fair runs through Sunday.
