In this photo from August 1999, Daren Gislason, a noted Minneota historian, decided to empty his closets and donate back issues of the Minneota Mascot that he has collected over the years to the Minneota Historical Society. The Mascots date back to the early 1900s. The papers were stored in the Opera Hall for many years and are now in storage at the Mascot.
