These men gathered at the Harry Boerboom farm 50 years ago on Oct. 17, 1974 to help with his plowing. Boerboom had been recently released from the hospital. The men in the photo included: Duane Boerboom, Patrick Boerboom, John Boerboom, Daryl Boerboom, Vincent Boerboom, Galen Boerboom, Dennis Engels, Ray Loyson, Peter Janssen, Wally Loyson, Douglas Carrow, Archie Timmerman, Archie Noyes, Julius Noyes, Gary Nuytten, Allen VanKeulen, Matt DeBruyckere, and Eloi Stassen. Other workers not in the photo were: Mike DeCramer, Don Boerboom, Donald Kline, and Emil DeCramer.
