SANTA’S WORKSHOP HELD ON DEC. 13

In collaboration with Santa’s Workshop on Saturday, Dec. 13, the Minneota Public Library will have several activities for children that day.
There will be children’s coloring activities from 9-10:30 a.m., followed by a visit with Santa Claus at 10:30 a.m. All kids in attendance will receive a gift bag. Parents are welcome to take photos of their children with Santa by the fireplace. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. is the Friends of the Library silent auction fundraiser. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. is the SPMH bake sale.
The Santa’s Workshop vendor exhibits will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Legion and VFW buildings.
The Minneota Senior Center will be holding a Soup and Sandwich lunch with desserts and beverages from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Mascot will be hosting three children’s authors with local ties signing copies of their recently published books. Gail Boe, Ronni Vlaminck and Valeri Scheps will be selling and signing copies of their books from 12-2 p.m. There will also be refreshments.
