Summer Reading to start on June 1

The Minneota Public Library is taking registrations for its Summer Reading Program that is set to begin on June 1.
The Summer Reading Program is open to ages 3-16 and challenged your child to read at their reading level or higher, and to set goals to read a certain number of books or spend a certain amount of time reading each week.
Every reading log turned in will be a chance to enter a drawing for prizes. Prizes are on display at the library. The drawing will take place on Aug. 18.
The Minneota Public Library is also offering Wednesday evening Story Hour at 6:30 p..m. with guest readers during the summer for those aged 3-10. Volunteer readers are sought.
Also, the library has invited CLIMB Theater to present the play “The Ant and the Grasshopper” on Wednesday, June 14 in the Opera Hall.
