THE CHIEF'S VIEW

Home events are a great opportunity to be entertained and to support your favorite sports and team. However, these events are so well attended, that issues may arise.
In addition to what the school has shared with students, I would like to remind parents about driving safety, parking, and supervising their kids. Park in designated parking spots only. The yellow zones are NOT for parking. Slow down around the school as many people walk to the game. Kids are the responsibility of their parents. School events are not a daycare, nor a substitute for parenting. Know where your child is and who they are with. Have a contact plan so that you can reach them and they can reach you should there be a problem such as weather, getting a ride, illness, or something else. Your child's behavior is a direct reflection of you. If you set standards and reasonable expectations, your children will rise to the occasion.
