This young doe appeared in the Floyd Okrina farm yard four miles north of Taunton on Christmas Day in 1976. Mrs. Okrina, shown here feeding the deer, said the deer seems friendly to family members but is a little skittish to some strangers approaching. The approximate one-year-old has stayed around for a few days now. It has marks on its hind legs, which makes the Okrinas believe it was caught in barbed wire.
