Once again, the people of Minneota were given an opportunity to attend a Veteran's Day Program at the Minneota school, put on by students and staff.

Today's program, moved up a couple days due to our attendance in the volleyball and football state tournaments in the coming days, was superb and so moving once again.

On behalf of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 199, I thank the school for hosting such a program and seeing that the feeling of respect and patriotism continues for our future generations.

Thanks to Byron Higgin for his amazing message and to all who had a part in the program for Veteran's Day 2017.

To quote Byron, "Freedom is definitely NOT free!"
