Two one-sided wins

Baseball is a sport that’s hard to figure out.
Take for instance the Minneota Vikings, a team that had been struggling going into the game last week at Madison against Lac qui Parle Valley.
The Eagles were flying high and hoping for a conference title.
Then disaster hit. Minneota brought their BIG bats, pounded out 15 hits and swamped Lac qui Parle Valley, 17-1 in six innings.
Cole Sanow ripped a double; Teddy Pesch and Austin Sorensen two each and Josh Laleman one.
And Landon Rolbiecki and Pesch combined to pitched a five-hitter as Rolbiecki got the win.
They traveled to Mankato to play Loyola on Saturday, out-hit Loyola 8-5, got a home run from Rolbiecki — but Sam Buysse walked seven runners and Loyola took advantage for a 6-5 win over the Vikings. Jaymes Moon and Sorensen each had a pair of hits but it wasn’t enough as Loyola tok a 6-3 lead into the seventh. Minneota rallied for two runs, but couldn’t tie the game.
Then on Monday in Minneota, the Vikings scored seven runs before making an out against a very young Dawson-Boyd team.
By the team the Blackjacks stopped the bleeding, the Vikings had a 14-0 lead after one inning.
Minneota got 17 hits as Blackjack pitchers issued 12 walks and hit three batters.
Moon had two hits and knocked in three runs.
Minneota is now 4-4 on the year and play at home against Canby on Thursday.
