Viking wrestlers open 5A against Paynesville

Minneota received the No. 4 seed in the Section 5A wrestling tournament and will host No. 5 Paynesville at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16.
The winner of the match of No. 8 Minnewaska and No. 9 Ortonville will take on top-seeded KMS at 7 p.m. on Feb. 16 at Kerkhoven.
The winner of that match will take on the Minneota vs. Paynesville winner at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday in Benson in the semifinals.
The championship match will follow at 2:30 p.m.
